Description
On her eighteenth birthday Lakshmi, a petite, pretty, south Indian girl from a remote rural village in the middle of the jungle, wakes up on a dirt floor in a room where she’s never been before. Her body hurts, and feels used in places where her young, virgin self hadn’t been touched before. She barely remembers the night before, but the huge dogs that lay in the chamber with her are bringing back memories. What was this place? Was it a temple? What happened with the dogs the previous night? And why was she starting to feel excited and tingly in new places when she looked at the animals? All these questions would soon be answered, as an old man, wearing only a turban and a loincloth entered the chamber…
